Gallery
PSG utilizes Electrovoice X-Array Speaker Systems. The
X-Array product line represents important advancements in concert-sound-reinforcement
technology. The design goals called for the highest acoustic
output capability with the highest fidelity in lightweight,
compact enclosures that were easy to array. The development
began with a clean sheet of paper and took an integrated approach.
The individual loudspeaker drivers, horns, enclosures, rigging
hardware and system configurations were designed from the ground
up specifically for this high-performance application.
- The
XN is an active near field, three-way, LF/MB/HF loudspeaker
system with a rotatable 60 x 40 coverage pattern utilizing
the full-size X-Array enclosure shell. The high frequency
and mid-bass sections are horn loaded with one driver
in each frequency band, and the high-frequency horn driver
combination
is mounted coaxially inside the mid-bass horn. The low-frequency
section has one driver in a development and represents
a step forward in state-of-the-art loudspeaker design
in terms
of high acoustic output with low distortion and low power
compression.
- The XF is an active far field, two-way, MB/HF loudspeaker
system with a 40 H x 20 V coverage pattern utilizing
the full-size X-Array enclosure shell. The high frequency
and
mid-bass sections are horn loaded with two drivers
in each frequency band, and the high-frequency horn/driver
combination
is mounted coaxially inside the mid-bass horn.
The horns and drivers were designed as part of XF development
and represent
a step forward in state-of-the-art loudspeaker
design in terms of high acoustic output with low distortion
and low
power compression.
- The XB is Manifold Technology dual 18-inch low-frequency
system, loading two woofers in the basic
X Shell optimizes performance for low-frequency enhancement
of contemporary
music (response 3 DB down at 37 HZ with
EQ).
- The XDS is Manifold Technology double-volume dual 18-inch
true subwoofer. The enclosure shell identical
to two side-by-side full-size X-Array cabinets, double
box volume optimizes very-low-frequency
performance.
